Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur IL on the 23rd of July, 1971. She and LeAnn Kymes were among the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Born on the 23rd of July 1971. She was a teenager when she first entered the music world, having won local contests at the age of 10 of age and recording her first album when she was fourteen years of age. When she was 14, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. In addition, she was invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. Later, in 1989 her debut solo album came out in conjunction with the band.
