Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is thought of as one of the best gymnasts. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles along with their younger sibling Adria and her younger sister Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at aged six. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor exercise, and also a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in 2011. Two years later, Biles was a dominant competitor in the sport.
