Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28th, 1998, in Los Angeles California) is an American performer, actress and voice actor. Ariel Winter started her career acting as a performer when she was just a few years old when she appeared in the Cool Whip advertisement when she was just six years old. The actress landed her first TV role at age 7 appearing on an episode of the CBS show Listen Up!. Then she followed it up with appearances on shows such as Monk Bones and ER. The year 2007 saw her debut in the role of Gretchen in The Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2007, she appeared as her first live-action character in the role of Alex Dunphy, on the famous television series Modern Family. Alongside the other cast members of Modern Family, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award four times, each time for outstanding performances of an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Ariel keeps doing the voice of characters for movies such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a purple Taekwondo belt.
