Lis Wiehl, an American writer and legal analyst who was formerly a Fox News analyst.
She previously served as an associate professor of law at Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor and National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning shows as well as hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree at Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl had been the US Attorney. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 until 2001. She managed the school's Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
